Best Jewelry for 2008

Now that the holidays are officially over, and the days are getting longer, it is time to turn your focus of the purchase of other people shopping for yourself. The end of winter is the ideal time to revitalize your wardrobe and get ready for spring. The big question for each mode-gal forward mind: What are the trends of the hot season? Last year, it was all cranky and tissues flouncy details, making it difficult to wear bold jewelry, which could not compete. This year, all the pomp has been relegated to the back of private fashion, style and gurus, including me, call for clean, classic lines with little or no noise.

For fans of jewelry, elegant fashion this spring forecast is good news: The minimalist style we see all the hottest on designer runways and top fashion magazines’ spring fashion previews are the perfect blank canvas on which to present our most spectacular jewellery. It is now time to add a little fun jewelry pieces to your collection and dust parts that were hidden in your jewelry box waiting for time to shine.

As Clairee Belcher, Olympia Dukakis character of the Steel Magnolias said: “The only thing that separates us from animals is our ability to accessories.” Indeed. Without further ado, here is my first six jewels waiting for spring 2008 And the celebs who love them.

  1. The necklace pendant. Like a charm bracelet, a necklace pendant is the perfect accessory if you are looking for something to customize. Take a chain or cord, and add anything that will give the world a glimpse of your personal style. Whether it’s a pretty stone in your choice of color, a teardrop-shaped pearl or a point that is to say something to you as your grandmother of the alliance, a symbol of peace , Medallion, heart or other talisman lucky, you can thread a string and make it the centre piece of your ensemble. Porter collar long if you want to draw the eye down and create the illusion of a neck more, or less if you want to focus your face. Pair the pendant necklace with an open collar oxford, a simple dress or a V-neck top. Jennifer Aniston has long been a fan of the necklace pendant, which is a perfect accessory for its boho atmosphere. For a super modern, do as Jessica Simpson and not show your pendant on a leather cord rather than a chain.

  2. Colliers in childbirth. After several seasons in the spotlight, diapers collar look is still strong. Dare we say the same style could become a classic? It is certainly interesting, giving the eye a lot to take and because it is versatile and combinations are endless, it works well with many kinds of necklines. To remove the appearance, a pair shorter, 16 – or 18-inch necklace with a much longer chain or three. For more contrast, choose different thicknesses, metals or materials. For example, a pair pearl pendant and a long pearl chain and rope. So great because it allows you to carry two or more of your favorite necklaces at a time, the presentation layer is favoured by fashion-forward celebs like Maria Menounos and Joy Bryant.

  3. Dangle earrings. Although I love diamond or pearl studs for days, dangle earrings are in vogue this season for day and night. Cate Blanchett Rihanna love and style, and who can forget the huge turquoise earrings dangle Marcia Cross wore to the Emmys? These giant baby blue, designer Lorraine Schwartz, have been exposed to these awards show! Because dangle earrings are far from subtle, adding punch to any equipment or hairdressing. Just make sure you do not wear jewelry that others will be in competition. That which dangles talk.

  4. Interlocking Hoops. Because the bare skin is in this season, it is acceptable to forgo wearing a necklace from time to time so that your earrings (and elegant, naked neck) can be. You want to be fashionable? The earring style hot at the moment is the interlocking triple hoop. What is it: three hoops from your earlobe that gradually get bigger to form a triple hoop style fun than think hoops and sophisticated thought dangle. Or circles are particularly popular at the moment, like diamonds, if you can afford, or CZs, if you’re on a budget. Jessica Alba and Uma Thurman have been identified in this sassy style, if you know the triple hoop earring is a trend worth emulating.

  5. Oversize hoops. Like the chain layered look, oversize hoops are here to stay. Kate Bosworth, Alicia Keys, Ellen Pompeo and Katherine Heigl are fans of the style, and it is not surprising: Oversize circles have a feeling nervous, which adds a funky, playful, urban ambience to another staid equipment. No wonder that J. Lo and Jessica Alba rock style so often. To make it even more interesting style, choose large circles of stones with a rubber band dangling in color, like green aventurine, or sterling silver hoops with peridot drops.

  6. Cocktail rings. Cocktail rings pack a surprisingly big punch in a very small package! Draw attention to your hands (and look younger) in choosing unfussy rings with a big stone rather than stones with diamonds or other details. Choose rings bold, colorful materials like turquoise, onyx, jade and pearl. Black Pearls white pearls and oversized cocktail rings make great. Trendsetters like Eva Mendes, Jennifer Lopez, Heidi Klum, Cameron Diaz and Catherine Zeta-Jones are all fans.
